Marco
Di Maggio has been recognized by the international press as one of
the top of the world R’n’R guitarists. His distinctive guitar
playing permitted him to collaborate with many Rockabilly and Country
legends from the past and also from today’s scene, like D.J. Fontana
and Scotty Moore (Elvis’ band), Terry Williams (Dire Straits), Robert
Gordon, Linda Gail Lewis, Billy Swan, to name just a few from a list of
circa 50 international artists. He recorded 6 official albums, 1 Video
and a book coming soon and he has appeared in more than 30 compilations.
He composes his own music and some of his songs were picked for world
tv- and radio spots, including the famous TV Series Friends and some movies
in the USA,Canada and Australia. He has appeared at world famous R’n’R
and Country/Jazz Festivals in the most important countries, including
the Grand Ole Opry/Ryman Auditorium in Nasville in April 2001, GreenBay
Rockin’ 50 Fest 2002, Viva Las Vegas 2000/2001. Marco is the only
Italian artist to be inducted into the international Rockabilly/Country
Music Hall of Fame.
Sue
Moreno, her great vocal style combined with an amazing stage presence
reminds you of some of the best female singers and stars from the 1950s.
Sue has been performing on many stages all over Europe and America. She
worked with great legends and artists like Paul Burlinson, D.J. Fontana,
Rocky Burnette, Stan Perkins, The Comets, Joe Houston, Red West, to nowadays
rockers like Number Nine, the Barnshakers, the Hacienda Brothers and Darrel
Higham. From a young age on Sue has been playing in different bands and
with various acts and for the last decade has been successful with her
band Sue and the Flaming Stars. She released a solo album in 2002 and
with her Flaming Stars she recorded an album with many of her own songs
which came out in 2004. Sue attributed to the Jack Million Big Band album
‘Night and Day’ that ended in the top ten hitlist in South
Africa. She starred as a singer and dancer in various theatre shows. In
2004 and 2005 Sue has been singing at the Elvis-gospel services throughout
the Netherlands. Sue Moreno has much coverage on (inter-)national tv and
radio and appeared on many international festivals like the Shake Rattle
and Roll Weekender, the Jackson Rockabilly Fest, Viva Las Vegas, the Midsummer
Jamboree and the Screamin’Festival.
